Work with On Duty IT
Run your own tech support business under a brand customers already trust. You keep 80% of every job, set your own hours, and never pay a cent for a lead.
Why techs work with us
You are not an employee. You run your own business. We just bring you the work.
-
Real jobs, not leads
You never pay for a lead or bid against five other people. A job comes to you already booked, with the problem described and photos attached.
-
Your own schedule
Set the hours you are available. Accept or decline any job for any reason. Work as much or as little as you want, and work for anyone else you like.
-
Paid the same day
The customer pays you at the job in cash, Venmo, or Cash App. No waiting two weeks for a check, no invoicing software, no chasing anyone.
-
A brand that opens doors
Customers let you in because they booked On Duty IT, not a stranger. You get a photo ID badge free. Branded shirts and cards are available if you want them, never required.
What you actually take home
You keep 80% of what the customer pays. We keep 20%, which covers the advertising that finds the customer, the booking system, the brand, and support.
| Quick Visit (30 minutes) | $75 job, you keep $60 |
| Standard Visit (1 hour) | $125 job, you keep $100 |
| Printer setup or fix | $59 job, you keep $47.20 |
| Wi-Fi or router setup | $99 job, you keep $79.20 |
| Virus and scam cleanup | $129 job, you keep $103.20 |
| Each extra 30 minutes on site | $45, you keep $36 |
No monthly fee. No signup fee. No charge for the app, the booking page, or the ID badge. The only money that ever comes back to us is the 20% on jobs you actually complete.
What you need to join
- Your own tools and vehicle. You are an independent business, so your equipment and gas are yours.
- General liability insurance of at least $1,000,000. You upload your certificate once and we remind you before it expires.
- A clean background check. You are going into people's homes, so this one is not negotiable. We pay for it.
- Real skill and real patience. Many of our customers are older. Explaining things kindly matters as much as fixing the problem.
How joining works

The fine print, in plain English
Technicians who work with On Duty IT are independent contractors, not employees. You set your own schedule, use your own tools, are free to accept or decline any job, and are free to work for other companies and customers at the same time. You are responsible for your own taxes, licenses, and insurance. Nothing here is an offer of employment.
